एक बार एक गुरु शिष्य के साथ जा रहा था। तो चलते चलते रास्ते में एक छोटा पौधा दिखाई दिया। गुरु ने शिष्य को बोला की पौधे को उखाड़ दो। शिष्य ने बोला इसमें क्या है। लीजिए अभी उखाड़ देता हु। और उसने वो पोधा उखाड़ दिया। फिर वो थोड़ा आगे बढ़े एक बड़ा पोधा दिखाई दिया
तो गुरुजी बोले की इस पौधे को भी उखाड़ दो। पोधा थोड़ा बड़ा था तो शिष्य को थोड़ी मेहनत करके थोड़ा बल लगाना पड़ा।मगर उसने वो भी उखाड़ दिया। फिर थोड़ा आगे चले तो गुरुजी ने शिष्य को बोला की ये पेड़ दिख रहा है। शिष्य ने बोला हां गुरुजी । तो गुरुजी बोले की इस पेड़ को भी उखाड़ दो। तो शिष्य बोला गुरुजी ये तो नही उखड़ेगा।गुरुजी बोले क्यों बाकी पौधे भी तो उखाड़ रहे थे। तो शिष्य बोला हां मगर उनकी जड़े कमजोर थी। तब गुरुजी बोले बिल्कुल में तुम्हे यही समझाने की कोशिश कर रहा था। की अगर किसी भी रिश्ते को ज्यादा मन से लगा लिया जाए। तो फिर वो रिश्तों भी जड़ों की तरह मजबूत हो जाते है। रिश्ते भी इतनी आसानी से नहीं टूटा करते। अगर किसी भी रिश्ते को लंबा और ज्यादा आगे तक नही ले जाना है। तो पहले ही छोड़ दो। क्युकी रिश्ते भी एक पेड़ की तरह ही होते है। इनकी जड़े भी अगर मजबूत हो जाए। तो फिर ये इतनी आसानी से नहीं छूटा करते।
